My journey begins!

The last thing I need right now is another income opportunity. Not that I couldn't use the income! Don't get me wrong! It's just that I am quite busy being a wife, mother, full time employee, Avon Lady, etc.  However, for just $12/month I couldn't resist joining up with Jerky Direct. I had tried it in the past and really liked their products.

What caught my eye this time was a banner ad for Operation: Jerky. The troops are near and dear to my heart, so was excited to see that there is a way for people to send twin packs of jerky to their favorite soldier from the comfort of their own home!

I admit, I did a little bit of upline shopping and discovered that a gal I've bumped into online, Alice, is on this team. I was thrilled! I entered my info into her auto-responder. When I tried to call her to get some information, though, I discovered is must be the wrong number. The person who answered refused to tell me if I even had the right number! Very frustrating. In the end, I joined under one of the team leaders as my sponsor and Alice as a sub-sponsor or something like that. I like that because they will both be my uplines.

I placed my standing order today, which I can change at any time. I also received my storefront website immediately, which is pretty cool.

I don't plan to make a huge living out of this, but my initial goals are to:

• Have my monthly autoship pay for itself ($13.97)
• Support an additional monthly autoship to the troops (another $13.97, total: $27.94)
• Earn an additional $100/month "fun money."
